Senior Application Engineer - Enterprise SaaS

As a Senior Application Engineer, you will be working on a robust data layer that needs to be presented elegantly to the end user, you'll be working with a large array of different technologies and fields. Expect lots of interesting challenges!

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a team of product managers, UX designers, and back-end engineers to build core features

• Identify KPIs to measure success in adoption and customer satisfaction of every one of these features, and delivered improvements to drive these KPIs to desirable levels

• Scale the architecture of our front-end by building out our component library and ensuring our web-application and API layers are built out in a consistent and maintainable way

• Help grow and mentor a team of engineers while upholding high development standards while delivering software incrementally

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional working experience in a similar role

• Experience building core functionality in a widely-used application and a strong understanding of HTML / CSS and JavaScript

• Strong sense of ownership end-to-end, ensuring every delivered feature is well thought-out and delivered with attention to detail

• Drive to deliver value incrementally and iterate quickly to validate new ideas

• Experience developing UIs using modern frameworks for modern browsers, such as Node.js and Vue.js.

• Teamwork and a strong sense of empathy

• Creative and innovative; able to quickly recognize new ways of doing things

• Open to feedback and ideas from others; able to disagree and commit

• Analytical and data-driven problem solver
